WWE Hall of Famer Shares Thoughts on the Suspensions of CM Punk and Elite AEW

The WWE Hall of Famer has shared his thoughts on the suspension of CM Punk and The Elite from All Elite Wrestling.

After an all out pay-per-view, CM Punk launched a scathing attack on Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in the post media scandal. Following the comments, Punk got into a backstage brawl with The Elite which also included Ace Steel.

In the days that followed, AEW President Tony Khan suspended everyone involved in the fight, even the officers who were separating the participants.

Khan also stripped CM Punk of the AEW World Championship and The Elite of the World Trios Championship.

speaking on Click This PodcastWWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed the entire incident and shared his thoughts.

On his former WWE rival CM Punk’s comments on the scandal, Nash said:

“At 42, Phil’s tired. He’s tired. He’s kicked. I was in the ring at 55 when he was cutting promos at me saying ‘Click click, I hear your knees’ lol, I thought you were dead.’ That bastard is cutting that promo on me and he sits there 42 years old, I think when I thought about it, oh no, he didn’t lose his shit, it’s toxic fucking jerk. He took his tampon Didn’t get out. He’s got toxic shock syndrome. I thought about it, googled him, fucking forty two. Dude haven’t wrestled for ten years. It’s like 75 El Dorado with 102 miles on it. bastard , Don’t tell me you’re tired. Don’t tell me you’re 75. Shut up. On top of that, all you guys at AEW, you dumb bastards. In your 1099s, you’re painting someone’s house Well, you got into a fight, and he said to you, ‘You are all suspended.’ Wasn’t it after the deal? You guys can’t do this work? I didn’t hear if they were being suspended without pay.”

Nash’s co-host Sean Oliver noted that executive vice president Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks were suspended along with pay, which has not been stated by All Elite Wrestling.

Former Diesel replied:

“So they’re the fucking cops who get shot in the back 23 times and then sit at their desks. That’s an effective way to manage. What the fuck.”

Addressing the return of punk overall, Nash said:

“I saw Phil come back, I saw everything he did. He made sure he made them all before he beat them. He was a pro. He could have gone there, his run got cut, basically , politically. He had a lot of heat. Lol. I see a lot in him. He’s a little prickly. He had his race, he had the number of shirts sold. He’d put it on someone’s face when needed. Could throw. He did a good job then he got hurt, came back, I don’t know specifics. I know the hangman interview pissed him off. What happens when you do that work-shoot crap So, you get a ‘Sunny Days’ which can ruin someone’s life at home.”

Another top WWE name has also addressed the all out backstage fight and questioned whether it was a chore or not.
