WWE has announced an injury to Edge following the attack on WWE Raw during Judgment Day.

During the September 12 show, Edge faced Dominic Mysterio in singles action. The match was called after Edge was ambushed by Judgment Day, before Finn Balor, Rhea Ripley, Damien Priest and Dominic Mysterio crushed Edge’s leg with a chair.

A report indicated that the venue is likely to be written off TV’s Edge, as the Rated-R superstar’s current contract is only for a limited number of dates.

On WWE The Bump, it was announced that Edge was diagnosed with a Grade 2 MCL sprain.

Edge recently returned from a beatdown met during Judgment Day in June and made a surprise appearance at SummerSlam in late July.

The Hall of Famer teamed up with Rey Mysterio to commission the pairing of Dominic Mysterio to defeat Finn Balor and Damien Priest at Clash at the Castle on September 3.
