William Regal opens up about current relationship with Vince McMahon

Over the years, many of Vince McMahon’s former employees have spoken openly about their relationship with him, both positively and negatively, but William Regal insisted that they had “nothing but a great relationship.” “

During a recent episode of “Gentleman Villain PodcastRegal insisted that “it doesn’t matter what’s happened recently,” in relation to WWE releasing him back in January, as it “doesn’t change” his view of the WWE president. “I’ve always known he’s my boss, so I’ve never been too friendly with him because I knew… one day, he wants to fire me. Regal admitted that he knew McMahon was his boss and that while they “could laugh and joke a little bit sometimes,” there was always going to be a moment when “it was time to leave.” The wrestling legend is back on his feet after WWE, working with AEW as part of Blackpool Combat Club, because “there’s no hard feeling there because it’s business.”

He also said that he “will always have a loyalty” because without Mr. McMahon right away, Regal believes he “would have died in 1999.”
