Being a fan of YA-style fantasy shows on Netflix is a dangerous prospect as unless you happen to rhyme with “Brangler Brings”, you’ll be on the cutting edge and your story may be canceled before you can complete . Warrior Nun fans hope their show avoids that fate, and they make a pretty good case for survival.
At this point, Warrior Nun season 2 has gotten 100% perfect from critics even though there are only six of them, but what’s more impressive is that it has a 99% viewership rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 4,500 reviews at the time of writing. 4,500 people agreeing on something on the internet is nothing short of a miracle, and as such it means Warrior Nun has the most votes, which is the highest ratings of any Netflix show I could find.
I previously wrote about Netflix’s ratings as this cyberpunk edgerunner racked up huge numbers. But if we take Warrior Nun Season 2 out of Season 1 (which has a score of 92%, giving it an overall score of 96%), the list now looks like this:
- Warrior Nun Season 2 (100% reviewers, 99% viewers)
- Cyberpunk Edgerunners (100% critics, 98% viewers)
- Lennox Hill (100% critics, 98% viewers)
- Julie and the Phantoms (93% critics, 98% viewers)
- Crash Landing on You (no critics, 98% audience)
- Heartstopper (100% critics, 97% viewers)
- Call My Agent (96% critics, 97% viewers)
- Making a Murderer (80% critics, 97% viewers)
- Mysterious (100% critics, 96% viewers)
- Teenage Bounty Hunters (94% critics, 96% viewers)
- Mindhunter (97% critics, 95% viewers)
- The Last Kingdom (91% critics, 95% viewers)
warrior nun season 2 literal Is it the best show on Netflix or astute fans are simply expressing their appreciation in any way? I mean it’s part of that, yes, but season 2 should actually be pretty good, and if I were Netflix this isn’t a fanbase, I’d dismiss it just because Warriors doesn’t have X, Y, or Z stats. doesn’t hit
Warrior Nun came out when it was in the middle/lower parts of Netflix’s top 10 list and has since completely disappeared from the list. It’s not exactly a great performance and was canceled after other shows did better. Netflix is known for canceling many shows after 1-2 seasons as they see further renewals not helping to gain subscribers which is the most important thing they care about.
However, at least one certainly To some extent, Netflix looks like they’ve been a little less happy lately. Shows like Heartstopper had high critical and audience ratings, but it didn’t seem like it was getting many viewers, but Netflix gave it the go-ahead for two more seasons. Now fans are hoping to see the light for Season 3 with Warrior Nun given the improvements between seasons and the fanbase it has garnered. The smart thing to do here would be to renew, but it’s anyone’s guess what route Netflix will take.
