Update on another released star returning to WWE

WWE Star Responds To Fan Outraged WWE Not Going ‘All In’ On Him

There has been an update on another released WWE star who could be returning to WWE soon.

Ever since Triple H took over the WWE creative in July following the retirement of Vince McMahon, many former WWE stars who were let go have returned to the company.

Most recently, Emma returned to WWE on October 28, responding to an open challenge from SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.

Several other ongoing WWE stars, including former NXT star Chelsea Green, have been reported to be interested in the company.

Both WrestleVotes and PWInsider have noted that WWE has shown interest in bringing Green back to the company.

Combat Selection (subscription required) has provided an update from WWE on Greene’s interest, noting that she was told that Greene was one of several female names discussed to return to the company.

The report does not note whether a deal is official, or whether a return date has yet been set.

Green is seen not signing contracts, during her time away from the company for both Impact Wrestling, Ring of Honor and the NWA.

WWE is reportedly creating this drama as a way to reinstate its women’s division with multiple TV-ready, experienced wrestlers.

This was highlighted with the recent return of Emma, as well as the company’s interest in Tegan Knox.

Another name that WWE is interested in getting back into the company is Mia Yim.
