Triple H discusses NXT’s desire to turn global expansion into a World Cup scenario

Triple H has discussed NXT’s desire to turn the global expansion into a World Cup scenario.

Since the announcement of NXT Europe and the hiatus for NXT UK, it is the beginning of a new era.

However, this new era is approaching with many question marks around it.

Since taking over the WWE creative and talent relationship, Triple H has been at the forefront of everything the company achieves, including the expansion of his brainchild.

speak with lad bible tvThe Game discusses NXT’s plans for global expansion and what it wants to achieve.

he said:

“For the past ten years, we have tried to recruit and start a brand called NXT. For us on NXT he is the Academy model. So if Raw and SmackDown are the NFL for football, then NXT is collegiate athletics. We had a little brand here called NXT UK, we were going down this road before the pandemic that put a stop to it but we just took that brand down because we’re going to see it as NXT Europe in 2023. I’m about to launch again and try to blow up. It’s big. The intention will be to take NXT Europe and bring it to the world. So, NXT Europe, NXT Australia, NXT South Africa, South America, Mexico, [we will] Eventually build it into a global system that will almost lead to a World Cup scenario. The World Cup Finals for NXT will be in London one year, maybe Mexico City next year, the year after that… and really what you’re doing is building it, you a fan base for college football. While you’re making stars for the major leagues which is Raw, SmackDown, WrestleMania, right. In India right now we are the second biggest sport in India outside cricket which is a religious thing. It is already huge but imagine the scale when we have a brand on the ground of having our own brand with the native Indian people. [Let’s say] One of them branch out and go to Raw or SmackDown, making WrestleMania headlines, it’s game-changing. ,

In the same interview, Triple H considered his threat to be fired as part of a controversial faction in WWE.
