A top AEW star has been pulled from an upcoming major match that was set for a coveted championship!
While Thunder Rosa was known as injured and unable to compete in AEW All Out, he also had other major matches, including one for another major wrestling promotion.
Although the Thunder could be an interim AEW World Champion due to Rosa’s reported injury, it is not yet confirmed whether her other upcoming bookings were canceled.
He is now officially replaced in the previously announced AAA match against Taya Valkyrie which was scheduled for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
TripleMania XXX: Thunder Rosa was set to challenge for the Reina de Reinas title at the Mexico City event on October 15, although his replacement has now been announced.
Coming as yet another installment in her current feud, Taya Valkyrie will now take on NWA World Women’s Champion Camille in Mexico City.
They will meet after the last match in which Camille managed to defend her NWA World Women’s Championship against the Valkyrie at NWA 74 last month.
The pair is also scheduled to square off on November 12 at NWA Hard Times.
There is currently no established timeline for Thunder Rosa’s return to AEW, although she has recently commented on starting therapy which you can read about here.
