AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa announced her injury last month on AEW Dynamite, which has led to her stepping back as champion.
Following Rosa’s announcement, many rumors began to speculate about Rosa’s injury, which she dismissed in an interview with Busted Open Radio, noting that she had serious back issues that she had to deal with.
Rosa’s injury resulted in a four-way run for the interim AEW Women’s World Championship at All Out, with Tony Storm defeating Hikaru Shida, Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter to become interim champions.
The period of Rosa’s absence is not disclosed, but Champion took to Twitter last night To share photos of the ongoing treatment for your back injuries.
There is a long way to go but feeling better with every therapy session. Thanks South Texas Spine and Joint Institute
Tony Storm took a jibe at Champion during the now infamous all out media scandal, claiming she would beat him ‘when she says she’s not injured’.
