The return of Monday Night Football has dealt a huge blow to the ratings of WWE Raw

Raw took a higher-than-expected hit from last night’s NFL season opener, averaging 1.71 million viewers, garnering a 0.44 rating in 18-49, and a score of 0.31 in 18-34.

The Denver Broncos vs Seattle Seahawks game was simulcast with Manningcast on ABC, ESPN and ESPN 2. Among stations, it garnered 19.79 million viewers, which is expected to average far higher than MNF under normal circumstances, with a 5.59 rating in 18–49.

The Emmy Awards on NBC garnered 5.92 million viewers and 1.09 viewers 18–49.

Raw ranked seventh for the night on cable, behind ESPN broadcasts, ESPN 2 broadcasts, pre- and post-game shows, and post-game Sports Center episodes.

Raw was ranked fifth among women 18-49 (including Love & Hip Hop Atlanta and three NFL-related shows), seventh among men 18-49, sixth in 18-34, fourth among women 12-34, and fourth among men. was in seventh place. 34.
