While Mandy Rose, the “Tough Enough” Season 6 runner-up, does not have a professional dance background, the art of dance played a major role in her path to WWE. According to an interview with LohudIn high school, Rose starred as a three-sport athlete, playing basketball, lacrosse, and softball, but eventually dropped all three to focus all of her time and attention on dance. She performed with a dance company all the time, but her capacity for competition never waned and she eventually found her way into the fields of fitness fashion and bodybuilding competitions.
After college, Rose took her fitness modeling career to the next level, Winning WBFF (World Beauty Fitness & Fashion) World Championships despite spending less than a year in the profession. Although not dancing, and never really became a part of her onscreen persona with WWE, Rose intensified her activity on TikTok during the pandemic, performing several viral dances. “It’s another thing I just did — it’s so funny, it’s a little addictive, I feel like that,” Rose Said in an interview with Fox Sports, “I’ve danced my whole life, so I think it’s a cool, fun hobby for me, too, to learn these dances. A lot of them are really hard. And I’ve seen this one of the biggest, biggest.” The hot thing that is going on right now is TikTok, so I have to join in.”
