WWE

It was announced last month that the NXT UK brand is going on hiatus, with NXT Europe starting in 2023.

As such, most of the NXT UK roster was either released from WWE, or moved to the United States to become part of the main NXT 2.0 brand.

While WWE released former NXT UK Champion Ashton Smith, his partner Oliver Carter remains part of the roster, and has received a new name and is moving to the US.

WWE aired a promotional video for ‘Oro Mensa’ on The Tonight Show, showing glimpses of Carter’s time on the UK brand. Going forward, the name Carter would use would be Oro Mensa.

He is set to debut in next week’s episode of the show.
