“He’ll Get You Fired… If You Trade For Him, You’ll Get Fired”: NBA Insider Makes Explosive Claim Via League Officials About Brooklyn Nets Star

Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons has always been a player in the spotlight. That’s what it takes to be the first pick in the NBA draft.

Simmons became one of the top players in the country as a freshman at LSU and was ranked No. 1 in the 2016 NBA Draft. Simmons came away with high expectations. Simmons has a knack for being one of the most dominant stars in the league.

At 6-foot-10, with the playmaking and ball handling of a point guard, Simmons has a rare set of tools in his arsenal. He has also become a sensational weapon on the defensive side of the ball. But his weaknesses have also made him a dangerous player in the league.

Simmons continues to show lackluster shooting attempts from outside the paint. To top it off, Simmons has had issues with his health, both physical and mental. For a player who was once seen as one of the league’s top young rising superstars, the stock has turned for Simmons.

That’s exactly what analyst Chris Broussard believes. On the podcast “The Odd Couple,” Broussard shared that there are many questions surrounding Simmons:

“Hopefully, I mean, like basketball fans, you hope that this guy can become the player he can become, because he was fantastic at LSU. Now there are the physical issues we talked about. There are mental problems. , and then you talk to people all over the league, there are questions about his bike. Does he like the game?

“I talked to some guys last week about Ben – these are league officials – that you should stay away from him. He’ll get you fired, you know. Acting for him would get you fired.

“So there are people wondering how much he likes the game. And they’re looking at the fact that he’s not even ready to do a jump shot. And they’re looking at it because he doesn’t like it, he hasn’t even tried hard tried enough to overcome that mental block.”

It was a slow start to the season for both Ben Simmons and the Brooklyn Nets (8–10). The team lost five of its first six games. After more than a year without playing experience, Simmons showed himself combative on the field as well.
