Gabe Sapolsky is reportedly back in WWE.
according to a report of PW Insider, the co-founder of Ring of Honor is back in WWE after being released by the promotion in January. Sapolsky will be working on the creative team but it is unclear whether he will work with the main roster or developmental. He previously worked behind the scenes at NXT from 2018 until his departure in early 2022.
Sapolsky posted on social media on Friday and said that he will still continue to do Twitter Spaces for independent wrestlers and promoters.
He posted, “I am very happy to say that I will continue to do Twitter space for independent wrestlers, promoters and others involved in independent candidates.” Twitter, “Follow me to stay up to date on when it’s next.”
Sapolsky was part of a series of cuts made by WWE to its development program earlier this year. On January 5, the company released William Regal, Road Dogg, Timothy Thatcher, Danny Burch, Hideki Suzuki, Kathy Corino (Allison Danger), Dave Kapur, Scott Armstrong, George Carroll, Ace Steele and Ryan Katz. WWE last month re-appointed Road Dogg as its new Senior Vice President of Live Events. Katz also recently confirmed that he is returning to WWE.
