Former WWE star debuts in AEW

Another recently released WWE star made his AEW debut at tonight’s AEW Dark: Elevation taping before AEW Dynamite in Albany, New York.

At the taping, Mascara Dorada made his AEW debut when he faced Serpentico in singles action, winning his AEW debut.

Dorada wrestled in WWE as Gran Metallic, where he reached the finals of the Cruiserweight Classic tournament in 2016, before becoming part of the reintroduced cruiserweight division, losing to TJ Perkins.

Metallic stepped out of the cruiserweight division in 2018 with Kalisto and Lyns Dorado forming Lucha House Party, a faction of which he remained a part until the release of WWE on November 4, 2021.

Since its release, Dorada has wrestled for several promotions including GCW, NJPW Strong and Impact Wrestling.
