Carmelo Hayes teases NXT Sendoff after losing North American title

WWE star Carmelo Hayes has teased his NXT sendoff after losing the North American Championship.

On the September 13 edition of WWE NXT, Solo Sequoia defeated Carmelo Hayes to win the North American Championship in the main event.

This came after Sequoia debuted on SmackDown as the newest member of The Bloodline.

Hayes has been talked about for a main roster call-up for months, but his first social media post after his loss may have sparked it.

The two-time former NXT North American Champion tweeted A picture of himself with a peace sign on stage at a concert with Kazim Famuyede.

The picture can be seen below:

Carmelo Hayes signed with WWE in February 2021 and made his in-ring debut on the June 1, 2021 edition of NXT. He quickly became one of the building blocks of the 2.0 rebrand, winning the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament and becoming a two-time North American Champion.
