Bianca Belair Reunites With Pat McAfee, Shut Up Lee Corso On GameDay


We certainly miss Pat McAfee in his role as a color commentator on WWE SmackDAHN every Friday night. But at least we hear him shut up from Monday to Friday The Pat McAfee Showand Saturdays on ESPN College GameDay — the job that takes him away from the one true sport: professional wrestling.

Match day has a history of welcoming wrestlers to the set when they deal with one of their alma maters, so we thought we’d see Pat interacting with some of his WWE peers during football season. Sure enough, with the ESPN crew on campus in Knoxville for Tennessee’s early season showdown with SEC rival Florida, a famous alum went to Rocky Top to pay a visit to the Match day crew.

She has always been the EST no matter what she does and wherever she does it. But before Bianca Belair signed with WWE on her way to become the ESPY Award-winning Raw Women’s Champion, she was Bianca Blair, All-American track and field athlete for the University of Tennessee.

The champion was on hand to represent the volunteers before their big game (no sign of WWE’s most famous Florida graduate, Titus O’Neil), and served as today’s “Guest Picker”. Of course, Belair took over the volunteers from the Gators. Any doubt about that was erased when she joined McAfee in a few bars of Tennessee’s unofficial fight song, “Rocky Top.”

When not talking about pigskin, Bianca had a great moment teaching GameDay’s elder statesman Lee Corso who she is and what she’s accomplished in WWE…

Will Bianca’s 11th-ranked Vols show the #20 Gators who they are this year? They’re doing pretty well as I write this, but there’s still a lot of play left…
