WWE brought the most spectacular two-night WrestleMania in history to AT&T Stadium earlier this year, but it wasn’t the first time that WWE brought WrestleMania to AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

WWE held WrestleMania 32 at the stadium in 2016, with Roman Reigns defeating Triple H in the main event of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but it was far from the only match on the show.

In one of the first matches of the night, the New Day’s Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston faced League of Nations’ Rusev, Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio, with Wade Barrett in the corner.

former WWE star Alberto Del Rio recently spoke to Sportskeedawhere he spoke about an alleged fight backstage on the show between members of the League of Nations, which was taking place a minute before he went to the ring.

he said:

“Yeah, there was a big fight backstage, but at that, I wasn’t having that fight. The other two and me, we had to put someone backstage in his place before we could go out. It was a minute or so before we went to the ring, and one of us, I’m not going to say that either of us had to say to this person, ‘Listen, you mom f. We’re done with you. You are going to go out and do this because you are this, and you are that.’ So yes, a minute before we went out into that huge, packed stadium, there was an altercation happening backstage. You know, it’s part of wrestling. One of the League of Nations members grabbed this other member of the League of Nations, grabbed him by the neck, and put it against the wall as such. So that’s all I can say about it.”

The League of Nations would win the match before being determined by Shawn Michaels, Mick Foley and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Wade Barrett will be dropped from the group the following night, his last in-ring appearance for WWE before his 2020 return as an announcer on NXT.
