Billy Gunn’s presentation during Dynamite: Grand Slam has indicated that the star has officially undergone a name change.

During the September 21 show, Gun Sverve went to The Acclaimed Two Ring for an AEW Tag Team Championship bout against In Our Glory.

Max Castor and Anthony Bowens eventually won over Keith Lee and Swarve Strickland, winning the title after 13 minutes of action.

During the admission of the acclaimed, Billy Gunn was announced in the arena as ‘Daddy Ace’. The nameplate also referred to the gun as ‘Daddy Ace’, indicating that this is officially his new AEW name.

As of writing, Gunn is listed as AEW website roster page As ‘Billy Gunn of the Gun Club’.

Dynamite: Several other titles changed hands during the Grand Slam. Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho defeated Claudio Castagnoli to win the ROH World Championship, ending Castagnoli’s 60-day reign with gold.

Jon Moxley also defeated Brian Danielson to win the vacant AEW World Championship.
