Warrior Wrestling has pulled a major tag-team match from the upcoming show after speaking with AEW/ROH.

Brix was originally slated to face the Lucha Brothers at Warrior Wrestling 25 on October 2. The match will no longer be on the show after ‘Pararsh’ with Tony Khan’s promotions.

Given that all four men on the show will be in action, and AEW’s Eddie Kingston will also wrestle, Warrior Wrestling tweeted,

After consulting our friends at ROH and AEW, we have agreed to change our cards for Warrior Wrestling 25. The Lucha Brothers and Brisco Brothers will both still compete, but they will no longer face each other.

They will each compete in different matches. But…..AEW will send Eddie Kingston to compete in Warrior Wrestling 25 and appear at the Pre-Show Fan Fest as part of this change. We are excited to host Mad King!

Since the teams will still wrestle at the event, it has been speculated that the Brisco vs Lucha Brothers match is being saved for the upcoming ROH show.

Ahead of Death Before Dishonored in July, Tony Khan confirmed that Mark and Jay Briscoe have signed with ROH. Ray Fenix and Penta El Zero M currently hold the AEW Trios Championship with Pac.

At the time of writing, ROH has no agreement with the network for weekly TV. Check out the latest updates on Tony Khan’s plans for ROH TV here.
