AEW Dark Elevation Results: Max Castor & Gun Club vs. Dark Order

It’s Monday and you know what that means. This week’s AEW Dark: Elevation was taped in Milwaukee, Wisconsin last Wednesday on Call with Excalibur, Mark Henry and Anthony Ogogo.

Anna J beat Heather Reckless (1:51)

Jay looked very crisp and scored a quick submission win with the Queen Slayer.

Powerhouse Hobbs & Ricky Starks (w/ Taz) beat Jordan Cross & Joey Jett (3:26)

Even though the jet was bigger than Hobbes, Hobbes threw it around with ease. Hobbs then kicks Cross into the corner with forearms. Starks tagged in and hit a beautiful dropkick and then slapped Jett with an open hand. The Starks won with Roshambo. It was a fun squash as we look forward to the final Hobbs & Starks vs Keith Lee & Swarve Strickland rematch.

Ruby Soho beat Missa Kate (2:37)

Kate busted a classic spot, hitting Soho’s face with the top ring rope. Soho came back with several strikes and an Enziguri. Soho misses a splash and Kate nearly falls from a pump kick. Soho ends her with Destination Unknown (Blade Runner/Sister Abigail variation).

Swarve in Our Glory (Swarve Strickland & Keith Lee) beat Vic Capri & GPA

Lee wrestled throughout the match. GPA took a heavy powerslam from Lee. Capri tries to dress her and just tosses her. Lee throws Capri across the ring with a Super Bowl. The crowd shouted, “One more time!” And Lee obliged.

GPA went in and Lee shook him off with a spirit bomb. Strickland got the blind tag, came on Capri with a top rope missile dropkick, and got the pin after another kick.

After the match, The Butcher, The Blade and The Bunny took to the stage to face Strickland and Lee. The descent was teased still between Strickland and Lee.

Ethan Page (w/ Dan Lambert) beat Serpentico (1:34)

Serpentico got the win last week and were looking to build a streak here. Not surprisingly it didn’t happen. Page crossed Serpentico with a tackle and chased down Ego Edge and quickly pinned him.

John Silver beat KM (2:25)

KM is much bigger than Silver, so Silver cuts him to size with a knee-to-knee dropkick and a shoulder off the middle turnbuckle. With a slingshot, KM almost fell. Sliver got him the win for a German suplex and then Spin Doctor. This was a very impressive power display from Silver.

Brody King & Buddy Matthews (w/ Julia Hart) beat CJ Esparza & Brubaker (2:33)

Murphy suplexes Brubaker to Esparza, and King throws a cannonball into the corner. King pushed Esparza by the hair and Murphy into the backbreaker. Murphy threw Brubaker into Esparza like a lawn dart and threw it into the sit-out Tombstone Piledriver from King to win the win. It was an impressive squash for members of the House of Blacks.

The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & 10) beat Max Castor, Austin & Colton Gunn (w/ Billy Gunn & Anthony Bowens) (4:07)

Before the show, there was an excellent Pride Month featuring Bowens.

Caster’s rap saw Republican senators of the state and Joe Biden falling off their bikes, so at least it was bipartisan.

Castor and Guns try to jump the Dark Order team before the bell, but 10 takes both Guns to the floor with a clothesline. The match finally began with Austin in the ring with Evil Uno in the ring after Colton sent Uno headfirst. Uno was cut by his corner until he grabbed Castor by the executioner’s neckbreaker.

10 got the hot tag and took Guns out of clotheslines and Caster with a spinebuster. Reynolds hits a springboard plancha on Guns. Billy Gunn gets in Reynolds’ face and Reynolds knocks him to the floor. Austin rolled up Reynolds and got the pin with his feet on the ropes.

It was a fun night of squash.
