This Friday’s episode of AEW “Rampage” will feature the first ever battle royale match, which will be called “Royal Rampage.” The concept would repurpose two rings for Blood and Guts, as ten contestants in each ring would be nominated in an over-the-top-rope challenge, with new contestants entering every minute. When it comes to the last person in each ring, it is unclear whether they will start a traditional singles match or enter the same ring and end the battle royal under the same rules.

The winner of the single-elimination battle royal will get a first chance at Jon Moxley’s interim AEW World Heavyweight Championship, which he won at Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view.

Based on the graphic shown for Battle Royale, the following men will participate:

first ring

Frankie Kazarian vs John Silver vs Orange Cassidy vs Rush vs Hangman Page vs Konusuke Takeshita vs Penta Oskuro vs Powerhouse Hobbes vs Ricky Stark vs Keith Lee

second ring

Svarve Strickland vs Darby Allin vs The Blade vs Dustin Rhodes vs The Butcher vs Max Castor vs Tony Ness vs Matt Hardy vs Dante Martin vs Brody King

It was also announced that the newly crowned AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks would face NJPW stars Hiruki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi, with the stipulation that if the latter two were victorious, they would win an AEW tag. Will earn the title shot. future show.

Finally, when Tony Storm goes head-to-head against Nayla Rose, we’ll see some tough ladies in action. Storm failed in her attempt to become the AEW Women’s Champion when she faced Thunder Rosa at the Forbidden Door last Sunday. He and Nayla will try to climb back to #1 contender status when they face off this Friday.
